Do I need a car to reach the Cottage?
Yes. Alagni Village isn't serviced by regular buses, but reaching it is simple! The charming village is just a 25-minute drive from Heraklion International Airport or Heraklion Town. Having a car not only makes the journey easy but also allows you to explore Crete's hidden treasures and stunning southern coast at your own pace.

Is there parking available at the cottage?
Yes, there is free street parking available near the cottage. Village roads are quiet, and parking is usually easy.

What’s the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need more flexibility - just ask! We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Will I receive a home guide after booking?
Yes! You’ll receive a digital home guide via e-mail after booking. You'll also find a printed guide at the cottage with essential safety info and helpful tips for a smooth, comfortable stay.

What amenities are available at Tonia's Cottage?
Tonia’s Cottage offers a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with a shower. You’ll also find a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board for convenience.

Is Wi-Fi reliable enough for remote work or video calls?
Yes, the Wi-Fi is reliable and suitable for browsing, emails, and video calls (connection speed is 50 Mbp).

Is Tonia's Cottage suitable for families with children?
The cottage is ideal for couples or friends. It can host up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (single or double), but the open-plan layout may not offer full privacy for families with small children.

Do you offer baby equipment (like a cot or high chair)?
We may be able to provide basic baby equipment depending on availability—just let us know in advance.

Are pets allowed at Tonia’s Cottage?
We currently don’t allow pets, but feel free to contact us with your situation—we’re always happy to talk it through.

Tonia’s Cottage is located in the heart of Alagni Village—a peaceful, authentic place that’s perfect for wine and nature lovers. The village itself is rich in history and Cretan culture, offering a truly local experience. Just steps away, you'll find a traditional Kafenion (coffee shop), and only 1.4 km down the road, the Lyrarakis winery invites you for tastings and vineyard views. A short drive takes you to nearby restaurants and supermarkets for all your essentials.
